On Nov. 8 the cafeteria will be used for the election. The kids will be
eating lunch in their classrooms. We need a few parents for
 each classroom (both Wallace and Crawford) to eat lunch in the
classrooms with the children so that the teachers can have
their 30 min lunch break.  Please post here if you are available to
come (and for which teacher).  Thank you! 

Readers Wanted!

Mrs. Crawford would like for parent volunteers to come to her class for an hour to take small groups of 8 (in 20 minute sections) to read.  This will allow her to focus on fewer children during station time her and give each child some specialized attention in reading in a small group (with you!).

If your child has Mrs. Crawford for homeroom, you are needed: 10am-11am
If your child has Mrs. Wallace for homeroom, you are needed: 1:30pm-2:30pm

Mrs. Crawford will provide the reading material and you will repeat the reading with 3 groups (or allow the children to read/discuss) in your alloted hour.  I have listed the days below and a link to the BG calendar.   Feel free to sign up for as many as you would like and are able to consistently attend.  Simply post the days you want blog this posting in the comments section.  (If you have difficulty with this, just email me at evilsis@hotmail.com with your selections)  In a few days, I will fill out a reading calendar and email it to you so you will know which dates you have been assigned.  (I will also post it here).

Free money for Briargrove couldn't be any easier than this!  IF it was, well... it probably wouldn't be legal!

Parents, simply follow these steps to help Briargrove reach its goal of 50,000 Box Tops by mid February!  If your son or daughter is the TOP Box Top Earner of BG, you'll win a prize as well as your child!

1. Register at www.btfe.com (Takes at most 2 minutes)
2. IF or when you shop ONLINE, first sign into your btfe account and click on "Earn" (This takes you to "Market Place" where you can earn box tops on your online purchases) *Be sure cookies are enabled on your computer
3. CLIP your box tops at home and send with your child to class each week. *Expired ones don't count so leave those at home =(  and please label the zip loc bag or envelope with your child's name, grade, and teacher.

Get relatives, co-workers, friends, church members, etc. to help give your child's box top collection a boost!  Good luck!
